reading the e14 blog, and after yesterday's meeting, i just can't help not saying anything when they are all going on about how being single is the best. to me, i've never regretted being attached with emmanuel. i love my baby x) so after reading their posts on the blog, i decided to write a little something...

it's true being single has it's advantages,
and there's nothing wrong with being happy with it.
but that doesn't mean being attached is bad,
or else why are so many people willing to go through hardships for it?
not saying that ALL relationships require going through hardships first.

it's not about fitting into someone else's plans, because that will not work out. remember, it's the person you were originally, who he/she fell in love with. i think it's more of both of you being yourselves, and at the same time, supporting each other in each of your own life plans, eg. what you both want in life. it's true that you may say when you get attached, it's the merging of 2 plans into 1,
but that does not mean that 1 of them has to be forfeited for the other.

a relationship is a give and take thing, not one person always giving only. if that's the case then, being single is certainly better because you can both "have a life". by being submissive, there's only going to be one person working towards his/her goals, while the other remains stagnant. loving someone, does not give you only problems. it can also bring you joy, motivation to improve yourself or simply.. to get out of bed each day. fearing of losing him or her, is a natural thing because you love him/her so much, thats why trust is very very crucial.

finding that someone, cannot be rushed or worth worrying about
because God plans our lives and as long as you have faith in Him,
He will lead you two together eventually.
being in love is indeed an emotional rollercoaster, but its those downs that bring you two even closer.
who wants a flat, uneventful, boring relationship?
and besides. without downs, how can there be ups? ;)

being in love isn't the amazing part..
being loved by the person you love, is.
