today was the ballarat concert, with the ballarat symphony orchestra.
it was quite fun,
i thought it would be difficult for me to get to go on stage again.. ever since i pushed my music away, well slightly.
being on stage just rocks, gives me all that familiar feeling..
rhapsody in blue is SO COOL!
so fascinated by the piano part, i'll never be able to do that man.
now i finally understand the awe some people feel when they see my play my music.. not being ego but then they always tell me but i never really understood it all..

this concert had 2 rehearsals before today's concert, so altogether it's 3 practices! AU$100 bucks each, quite cool. i think this concert was quite interesting. how it all started..
one thursday, i ended practical late so went for sinfonia late. but then just when i was going up the stairs at berkerley, i realised mark shiem was on the top of the stairs sitting there, looking worried. then he asked if i wanted to play for a gig.. and yeah thats how it all started.

it's nice that i met so many new people.. in particular, emily. she drove me up and down to ballarat for the 2 rehearsals.. nice and quite pretty, "country-like" girl. she's quite poor financially.. car is quite unbelievable but yeah, i don't really mind. i just get so "envious" that she's not embarrassed or anything about her car or her actions (like she even walked on the streets barefooted in ballarat, when she went to look for mark) and still has that "qi4 zhi4". really humble girl, with her own pride. like she gently declined to drink my water at first..

great experience playing with adults, caucasians.. especially elderly ones, are extra kind =)

oh and i like her dress
